Logging in to myUNSW

  1. Go to myUNSW.  
  2. Enter your zID in the User ID field and your zPass in the Password field. 
  3. Click the Sign On button in the top right-hand corner.

Changing your password

  1. Go to UNSW Identity Manager.
  2. Enter your zID in the User ID field and your zPass in the Password field.  
  3. Click Log In.  
  4. When the Welcome to UNSW Identity Manager Self-Service page displays, click the Change ZPass button.  
  5. When the Change zPass window displays, enter your new password in the New Password and Confirm Password fields, then click Change Password

Forgotten password

  1. Go to UNSW Identity Manager.  
  2. Click Forgot Password.  
  3. When the Identify User page displays, answer the questions displayed. (You created these questions and answers when you first set up your zPass password.)  
  4. Click the Login button.  
  5. When the Change zPass window displays, enter your new password in the New Password and Confirm Password fields.  
  6. Click the Change Password button. 

Locked zPass

If your zPass is locked:

  1. Log into UNSW Identity Manager. You will still be able to login even if your zPass is locked.
  2. If your zPass is locked, you will see an Unlock zPass button. Click this button and the problem should be resolved. If the issue is not resolved, you will need to contact the IT Service Centre:

Deleting cookies to fix problems with myUNSW

If you’re having problems with myUNSW, deleting cookies may help.  

For example, if your enrolment appointment does not open when you select Update your Enrolment, you may need to delete cookies from your web browser to allow myUNSW to refresh. 

If deleting your cookies doesn’t solve your problem, you may need to use a different web browser to access your myUNSW account.
