- The ALLY@UNSW Network is a lighthouse program that aims to ensure that UNSW is a safe, welcoming place for all students and staff who identify as LGBTIQ.
- Arc @ UNSW Queer Collective
The Arc Representative Council has a Queer Collective to support and represent all students on campus who are queer - that is, people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, genderqueer, asexual or anywhere within the Queer spectrum.
The Women’s Department provides a Women’s room in the Blockhouse that is an alternative safe and autonomous space with a kitchenette, comfortable furnishings, and a computer with internet access.

QueerSpace: Room 920, Chemical Sciences Building (F10)
This room is an allocated space for Queer students to meet socially as well as for the Arc Queer/LGBT Department to hold its meetings.
